Got to see the Citroen last night, it and the little Suzuki are both neat cars. Wish I could have looked at them a bit more in depth. It was good to meet you Bob. Sounds like you need some new shirts also, "Euroasian Bob, Different is Cool"
Since it's a series 1 V6, it's got the "Diravi" steering (same as the CX or SM - steering wheel automatically comes back to "center" position). On XMs it usually leaks or malfunctions after a decade or two, since the seals are too close to the exaust pipe. It's a pretty low mileage example, so it should be fine. But first, replace the LHM plus fluid, clean the two filters in the LHM tank and change all the spheres to new ones from Sphere Discount (the brand is IFHS). And from there you'll see if the hydraulics work properly.
I owned the identical car and had an 85 before it. Such a weird, fun little car. One of those "wish I never sold that" cars for sure. Man I miss when car makers still had a sense of fun and would build interesting cars
Delorean looks great. I own my pops. Will keep in family when I go to next life. I own a 1983. Did a lot updates on it. But. I used to drive as daily. Have 25 k on it. But ran some issues so we redone a lot of issues , Up here in Alaska we own body shop and mechanical shop. So fixing things is easy. Some parts we needed were the issues. But enjoy your car😊
As a Finn I have to say proudly that Saab 900 Cabriolet was manufactured only in Finland at Valmet Automotive and it was also designed in Finland. Idea for cabriolet version came from Robert J. Sinclair who at the time was chief executive officer of Saab-Scania of America.
I saw a 1999 S80 with a 2.9 liter engine with just under 300,000kms on the odometer with the original timing belt and water pump still in place. The belt was fairly cracked but the water pump was not leaking.
Thanks! My son wants a Corvette with pop up headlights so I think late 80's thru early 2000. I really don't want to pay more than 5 or 6 thousand. Looking for something that runs and drives but needs work so he can fix and make his own. Whay years would be the best for a 14 year old whe it comes to reliable and ease to work on. Love your videos.
Thanks so much for super thanks! Look for a decent 86-91 C4. The L-98 is a reliable engine. You should find one in your price range per your expectations.
