I had the same bike in a out 1988 it was my grandpa's and he gave it to me. I have joy in my heart to hear that motor.....that sound brings back so many good memories of my old bike I was teased by my friends back then because it was not the latest and best bike when we would go riding but I didn't care because I loved that bike. I was 17 years old and on my first try I climbed a hill that nobody could ever get to the top of.
I had 1 of these in England they were called beamish suzuki RL 250 and 325 they had a crome frame yellow tank and mudguards great bikes bullet proof Graham beamish imported the engine engines he made the plastics his son was a great rider for suzuki Steve beamish beamish good times😁
In over 35 years in the trials scene I have never ever seen anybody fit handguards to a trials bike, they don't match the bike and look awful, please do this bike a kindness and burn them.
great bike, but everyone I knew with one snapped the frame, top of cradle under the tank, then Suzuki strengthened them with heavy bracing and the problem ceased, this looks like one of the strengthened frames, the UK frames usually came chrome plated which rusted quickly and made welding the fracture a real pain. .still great bikes though, suzuki Honda etc will remake all these old trail bikes, XL's TL's, TS's DT's, XR's the market is there now, people want them, simple, uncluttered, air cooled and no plastic space age panels that look stupid PLEASE . .
HA!HA! I own one , best motor I've ever had , BUT WHY DIDN'T THEY PUT A MOTORCYCLE AROUND THAT GOOD MOTOR ? It's pegs are too High , Bars too Low , and Frame Geometry SUCKS ! I rebuilt one that looks great , BUT YOU CAN'T RIDE IT !!!
