1975 Triumph Spitfire: Full Restoration Project 

Thanks! My father repainted this back in the early 80s. It has remnants of the original banana yellow color here and there. Hoping to repaint it this same BRG color when we get to that stage.

Awesome! Thank you! - I need to prep the frame before I get to anything, so it won't be for a little bit until I get to this, but maybe I'll sneak some content in here and there. Debating to pull the engine this winter to work on it.

You give me to many good ideas here! I also spotted in a FB group last week someone had added a supercharger on their stock block, soooo... That too could be fun. For now, I need to just get that new (to me) frame cleaned and prepped, and of course a solid place to work on it. Once one of my current projects is evicted, maybe I'll have room to set it up, which of course would happen right about when I am able to pour my floor, which is why I've been waiting to start this project..

Welcome aboard! Thanks! We're working on our shop at the moment, as we'll need to have some permanent space to dedicate to this project, so stay tuned. We may get to some pre-rebuild tasks beforehand like prepping the new frame and such!

This season I really want to get the new frame prepped and ready to start taking new parts! Ideally I'd love to have concrete and heat before I start this, but I don't see that happening this year.

We'll be working on it later this spring/summer. Most of our auto-projects were on hold in 2020 while we erected our new shop space, but now we're getting back into them as time and finances allow! There is a goal this year to get the new frame prepped and painted in an effort to start swapping over some of the stuff like suspension etc.

Not a fan of the chrome bumpers? Surely these are more attractive than the black rubber of the early 80s models :)

It's going to be a challenge, luckily the frame is the only really bad part. BUT, no computers, no doodads and fancy electronics to fiddle with.
