Hi everyone, just showing off a car that I just recently bought to my collection it is a 1976 Cadillac Seville please feel free to reach out in the comment section
Nice video. Of course beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and from my perspective, the first generation Cadillac Seville was one of the most beautiful cars ever produced. Congratulations on your Seville. Enjoy it.
Met a kid n 12th grade Coolidge High D.C. , Ken R. His dad let him Drive his 1978 champagne seville to school daily. It had the Rolls grille, tru spokes and vogue tires. We had a blast cruisin D.C. n that Caddy! Olds 350 has a distinctive sound!
I had a black 1976 Seville with black leather interior and those same rims and tires. In 2005 I paid $500 for it from a buddy of mine bcus he didn't have a title and it was super clean. I slapped a caddy tag on it and no one knew anything. Had to part it out bcus of the title situation. Love your car and I hope to get another 1 one day.
The engine was swapped by an old farmer. You know how you can tell? They only connect enough hoses and wires to make the engine run and the rest are just "extras" Also, I met the farmer that did it. After an hour of tinkering last night, we found a few vacuum hoses that he forgot to connect and now the climate control and fuel economy lights are working again. Yes, it was at Timothy Leary's place, The Hitchcock Estate, in New York. What a beautiful place, and still an active farm as well. Stone buildings, old wavy glass, and I walked through a door that was four feet wide and 3 inches thick into an office. Just an amazing place.
My grandmother had a 77 but in blue and then she traded it in for few years later for the bustle back & that was her last car and I ended up getting it as a gift when I got my driver's license in 93 lol it had 30,000 miles on it like yours and it sat in the garage for years. I loved it and drove it for years until it ended up needing a transmission and at the time back then it didn't make sense to get it. It was worth more to replace then the car was worth back then. Now I wish I had it back it would of been worth a lot of money. I kept it in show room condition 😔
Congratulations, one of the most Beautifully Designed Cadillacs ever, actually of all cars ever. The most Unique car ever built. Simply Gorgeous. !!!! One of my Favorites. !!!!
Old school Appliance Wheels with baskets. Very common aftermarket in the 70s gave it a little bit of a Italian stallion look the steering wheel that the 1976 has came out in 1974 was changed in 1977. Then in 79. Those were the factory size whitewall tires that came with that car. Also the odds are that it is in early 1976 that was produced in 1975 because it's my understanding all of the seville's produced in 1975 which was an early introduction called 1976 were all silver with Dove gray Interiors
Those are definitely aftermarket rims and I have since put new tires since those tires were thirty years old so it's got small white wall tires on it now, thank you for the comment.
just seen you video of seville i have a 79 diesel which I've owned since 1982 in the uk it's on youtube if you want to check it out further i have all shop manuals wiring diagrams and the official gm parts books for all cadillacs from about 1976 to about 1984 mine is my everyday user and if they are kept something like intended they are great to use good luck with yours regards
Your Seville looks really nice, I'm happy you found a nice one. I'm from Austria, and here it's even harder to get a good one for decent money. Furthermore, I searched the web forever too and got one in dark blue metallic & beige leather seats. Hope to see more content from you. All the best from Austria :)
Thank you for the nice comment yes it took me over 2 years to find one they're sporadically out there in the United States but unless you really want to travel to find one you got to be patient for one nearby
Looks like you need a rug. ,Caddy Daddy parts. I think out of California, at the time if im not mistaken That car my of had one of the worst 😫 motors Cadillac ever made ,they all winded up in the junk yard, that was the 4100, GOOD LUCK,, CLASSIE SHORT BACK AND OF COURSE THE PROPER DECK LID.
@@frankviolante4286 yes there's a lot of little things I have to address on this car, and yes the rug isn't that spiffy, but very easy to replace , I've replaced several rugs over the years in cars
