Welcome back everyone! Thanks for watching. Sorry video is day late. Out in the farm lands, we have bad internet. Took 50hrs to load video. As always, please like and Share the video, it really helps the channel grow. Love ya'll
Thanks for posting. Surprised it fired up so easily, next time take plugs out and oil cylinders before turning engine. Get oil pressure established before cranking engine to start. Usually every pump on the car needs rebuild especially fuel, water, ps, ac,. If it were me I wouldn't run it on oil or fuel. I will watch if you kerp posting .... and you are right to admit not many wives would help clean that junker.@SquareMax
@@SquareMax shit that’s more than a weeks worth of work… So frustrating that wherever we are in the world the WWW will take so long to complete uploads and downloads it’s so ridiculous how we the users seem to pay for a service that is not supplied to us in a timely manner that we are all entitled to… Great Video by the way, I love watching transformations of Automotive Engineering and restoration and even just a really good tidying up which always puts a well deserved Big Smile Upon Your Face that shows the Pride you feel inside of yourself when you’ve done a great job and you know it 👌… Going to Subscribe from New Zealand ✌️😎👍🇳🇿 Awesome transformation Guy’s….
Nice find! Really cool! Fun watching your cleaning her up. Base L48 motor is solid and has good power. Quadrajet carbs are great - only the unskilled that can't do a proper rebuild on them don't like them. As for the music, not my favorite. But this was fun to watch!
Gots to say I love the wife don’t keep asking you a lot of questions and stays in her own area and was really putting in some work on bringing the inside back to life and did a awesome job if I can say
Marilyn's a great name for this beautiful car and I look forward to seeing more of her! This is my first time watching your channel, I think you came up 'cause I watch a lot of old car revival channels like ViceGrip Garage. I've never laughed so much though as I did watching your show. I just about lost it when I was watchin' the slow-mo clip of your legs sticking up and sideways out of the front end! Hilarious moment!! Also when you were describing the broken fuel pump I just about lost it again...Push rod, pack, jam, hole, slather, stuck up there, shaft...LOL!! 😂😂 Don't go changin'; you and your team have a niche. I will watch your other videos. Cheers from Calgary Alberta Canada.
Great job! Yes, I definitely want to see more of this car. I've had a couple of vettes and I love them. Keep up the good work. I like watching someone who's on hella budget just like me.
Great and entertaining vid. Thanks. I own a '74 Corvette, no metal floors, so no rust in this area. Will take a look at your other videos too. C3's are just beautiful.
I have 2 corvette stingrays and i think the body styles sexy and I own a 1975 and a 1976 . The 76 was sitting on a farm for 10 years . The 75 I've had for years and it's been in my garage since 2013 last time I registered it . I do start it every now and then . It's a standard transmission. The 76 is an automatic . With 70 thousand original milrles .
When you said we don’t have spiders in Florida your reflection in the windshield got me made me jump an scream thought it was a big spider I hate spiders 😂😂😂
Hey mate, Loving the videos, very entertaining. Great to see someone getting out there and doing it! Love this style of Corvette. I live in New Zealand and they cost a bloody fortune!! keep it up bro, I reckon you're doing great!
Sweet! Love the C3’s! sold my 79 two years ago and bought a 70 Camaro project but as soon as I’m done, you bet I’ll be getting another C3. The body style is sexy with that coke bottle shape
I just came in the house from pressure washing my next project. 74 corvette and man is it rusty, nasty and busted in some panels. I needed this from you to motive me on
These are my favorite body styles I remember seeing it for the first time when I was a kid this was the ultimate corvette setup a new motor minus smog some bolt on and your good
Definitely want to see more videos of this car nice video and a beautiful place you live I live in NYC and you know the deal have a blessed day stay safe
Great project ! Next project to increase the amount of content , do one episode on interior clean up another on exterior and one on getting her to run . That way one car gets more views and likes . Keep up the great work .
Very nice find, congratulations! I have a 10/76, and be careful when ordering parts. The core support that mounts the radiator from the factory is a '77 in my case. I ordered for a '76, I'm using it any way but it mounts the radiator about an inch higher. The only special thing about this era, this is the last C3 badged with cursive writing on the front fenders. The alarm switch above this emblem was gone on '77 models. Looks like you found a good one!
I was a used battery dealer for years. All you have to do to charge a dead battery is to jump it off. Hook some jumper cables up to a known good battery for a couple of minutes and it will put enough of a charge on it for the charger to read it. You don't have to take the battery out of your vehicle. I always kept one good battery around for this purpose. If you are trying to bring back an old one, you want to trickle charge it for a couple of days, regardless of what the voltage shows. After that, fast charge it for a day. The mistake people make is testing as soon as it shows 12 volts. A lot of times, that is not the actual voltage, and the battery will test bad, even if it isn't. Take your time and let it deep charge. I have brought back a 17 year old battery that came out of a car that had been sitting for nine years, and it tested perfect after sitting on the shelf for a week. I trickle charged it for three days, and fast charged it for one. I didn't even change the acid. It held at 11 volts under load. I put in a car I sold, and it worked perfectly.
@jesterr7133 I appreciate all the info. I will put that in my think bank. This battery started to take charge. But battery got really hot. Stayed warm after unhooking till it lost charge.
The way to save money when spray bombing a car is to get the correct paint code from the car or if it's not found on the car then call the manufacturer with the VIN and ask for it. Then go to a Auto Body Supply store (They're in every city) and give them the paint code and if possible bring a sample of the paint from the actual car (A paint chip) then they will mix up the perfect paint color for it. Buy one or two cans of the paint (Spray cans you don't need to buy gallons of it) then get some clear as well and away you go! It will match Perfectly!! The spray cans are about $20 from them for most shops that I've known. This gets the job done right or at least the color matched right the first time so you aren't buying colors that might be close etc.
Greetings from Wisconsin. First time watching your channel. I really enjoyed it. Just subscribed. I just started a channel too. It's people like you that inspire me to get off my rump and get in the shop. I'm hoping to do more full length videos soon. I really like your style. Keep up the good work. Can't wait to see the rest of the Vette content.
@RanWhenParked. Greetings. Appreciate you watching. I wish you the best of luck on your channel. I started mine for the same sorta reason. Was watching others do same stuff. It's definitely alot of work to record and edit a movie. But also really rewarding when people enjoy it.
A cheap hand held steamer from Walmart works wonders are car interior. That gets so much gunk out of cloth and door panels. A drill brush kit helps out a lot to.
I was expecting the motor to be bad but its not sounds good just fix those vacuum leaks . Would be nice if you had a lift get rid pf that rust and fix the floors .
Awesome Corvette Congratulations on the nice find Job well done,, be careful inside of those cars because you can easily get sick from mold or mice urine, get you some mask 😷.
found your channel in my for you page this morning watched the Camaro video loved it lets see what you do with a Vette much love from Louisiana my good sir
Tried to watch , music not my thing , never like when music is dubbed in place of , like when you just talk , if I have to ff thru music I just move on , best of luck with your channel
68-82 is the lifespan of the C3. I bought a 79 out of California storage for over 20 years unstarted! Imported into Australia. Fired right up after preliminary checks and cylinder lube. Heads, cam, manifold and sniper later still running original bottom end
Just watched and subscribed. I have an 02 C5 Vette but will always have a soft spot for C3 Corvettes. Loved the vid my friend. Can't wait to see more of this 76
Just found your channel and liked what I saw so hit subscribe. You're one of the first Florida youtuber I've seen. And you're pretty close as I live in Ocala.Hope your channel takes off. Best of luck
You can swap out thend heavy leaf spring for a fiber glass one from an 84 c4. Get longer bolts and it will drop it considerably and reduce a bunch of wait.
