One tip, use an old inner tube to waterproof the distributor, I also Used to drill a smaller hole into the side of the distributor cap and used vacuum line ran inside the dist cap to vent it from condensation, It worked well for me.
Pretty sweet, electric is just something where many people are unsure, I can wire most of a house but I don’t know much about cars, would love a video of sort of how to when building a vehicle!
Yup I'm actually an electrician by trade, and yeah automotive electrical is a different beast! Look up superfastmatt, he's got a great video about rewiring a jag 👍
You made a big mistake, IMHO running your battery cables through sheet metal w/o heavy grommets to protect at the very least the Hot lead which will short out once you start using the truck. Please fix that ASAP. A similar run almost cost me one of my first Ford trucks, never forgot about it to this day.
I didn't show it in the video and going back and looking you really can't see it, but I did put grommets in the hole. But from the video you can't see them so I understand your concern! I'm an electrician so it would be pretty embarrassing if my truck burned to the ground 😂😂😂
