46,824 actual miles. Original paint and interior, rust free southern car. Eye catching colors and original honeycomb wheels. 4-speed with air, very desirable. Documented with Pontiac Historical papers.
EXTERIOR: Great looking car. The Carousel red really pops. Believed to be the original paint and it shows remarkably well. When you walk up to it, the car is straight and glossy. Being original there are some minor nicks and dings. It has original decals, also presentable looking but they show some age. The body is rust free, panels fit real nice. The original dealer's tag is still on the bumper. The shaker scoop is opened up to let fresh air into the motor. The original glass is nice. The weather strips and window seals are still soft rubber. It was born with honeycomb wheels which I love. Honeycombs would be a must on my checklist. The BFG tires look new.
INTERIOR: The white interior looks fantastic against the carousel red paint. It's original and in really well kept condition. The bottom driver's seat cushion does have a split, brand new seat covers are included. Door panels are very nice, the plastic trim is real nice. The dash pad is excellent. The machine turned instrument panel is excellent. It has full set of rallye gauges. Heater control panel is excellent. The original Am-Fm stereo and 8-track are in place (not working). Original Formula steering wheel is really nice. The carpet is excellent. The console is excellent, the lid has a crack, easily replacable. The headliner and visors are excellent, domelight works.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: The 180 hp motor was upgraded with a 1970 400 with code 16 heads. It had a performance rebuild with a hot cam and Edelbrock intake. The motor looks stock, it was repainted Pontiac blue including the intake. The shaker assembly looks complete, has the duct work in place. The factory air conditioning is complete, it was updated with R134 freon.was serviced, It has power steering and power brakes. Overall everything looks proper. The shroud,, overflow bottle are in place. The washers are hooked up.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: It looks like it's never been opened before. Clean uncut original metal with the original factory spatter paint finish. It has the original insulated trunk mat. The space saver spare with the air bottle has never been used. The jack is still mounted up under the deck. The weather strip is still soft. The Orange paint under the trunk lid and the jamb is original and in really nice shape.
UNDERSIDE: Under this car is well preserved original. The metal is rock solid. There is a chrome oil pan on the motor. It has correct T-10 4-speed trans. Original 3.23 posi rear. The exhaust was replaced, it has Flowmaster mufflers and chrome splitter tips.
I think this car is awesome! The colors, honeycombs, a/c and a 4-speed is a highly desirable combination. It's not a perfect restored car but it is a fantastic example of a survivor.
I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my professional impression of the vehicle.
Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video that explains the car's condition in detail.
**These cars are displayed in a museum. If interested in a particular car make an appointment with a salesman to see that car. Without an appointment there is an admission fee to enter the showroom. If you buy a car, your admission will be refunded and you will be given a 1 year membership.

I Love the Car ! But a stick in Southern Calif. would be a pain. If it were an automatic it would have been a consideration. All of the Trans AM's from that era remind me of my childhood. They are a lot of fun. Thank you for the Great video, Jeff

I had the same exact car except the interior was tan...it was a project but original paint, decals, all # s matching running gear, the sad thing is the way I lost it, the car was being stored somewhere & long story short, I lost it

Looks like an older re-spray to me. The Trans Am decals have been applied too low on the front fenders, they should sit just below the body side moulding. Also, the screaming chicken decal on the hood is not correct for a '76 T/A. The Firebird emblem is missing from the driver's side B pillar. Hood scoop was blocked off starting in 1973 due to EPA noise regs.

I had this car, it was a project but all there, I noticed the driver emblem on b pillar missing too, & I question the bird too, mine was faded but, center bird was black also, but the wings look more silver, mine was gold/ yellow/ black, matching the lettering which wasn't as faded on mine so I could tell

Drivers side "B" pillar is missing the Firebird emblem. Deduct points on NOM, slight interior work needed and the radio doesn't work. My guesstimate $33,995.00

We wouldn't even break even that guesstimate, so nope. 😮
