@@patrickflohe7427 we gotta remember the times. Fuel efficient engines were what people wanted. The gas crisis was a big issue then. Thankyou for your reminder of how beautiful some cars from this era were. Stunning car! That beautiful of a car, and then I see & hear it’s a full bench seat and a 301. Don’t know why people went that route. Mom & Dad had a ‘77 that was white with red velour interior, T-Tops, etc….she was fully loaded. It was my mom’s favorite car of all time. She’s 92 now, and still remembers it fondly, and even remembers Dad special ordering it for her.

Me too. I guess GM stopped making Pontiac's and instead made "Corporate" Pontiac's which was totally different. Thanks for watching Jim.

So true Dennis. Now a days its right up front near the driver. There's no access to the trunk when the compartment is locked so I guess it was for security. Thanks for watching.

This car is excellent super fully loaded flawless I would offer the owner $110,000 dollars if I had it my only major beef is the motor is too small should have a 400 or 455 under the bonnet I prefer console shifter with swivel buckets but I would take it as is Jim Wangers signature is a real bonus GM should have kept Pontiac and rejuvenated the performance division that car has been nurtured like a baby that interior is flawless had to be a garage kept car the problem with white interiors they tend to yellow as they mature but after viewing this like 5 times I can’t see any blemishes or discoloration on that White business class interior Bravivisimo !!!

I would have preferred the big block V8 as well but it would have to have been a 400. The 455 was dropped for that year. I had a 301 in a 79 Bonneville. It wasn't very powerful but it was adequate, ran very smoothly, never gave me any problems and wasn't a gas hog.
