In this video my friend Costas and I take his mint condition 1977 2.7l Porsche 911S out for a spin. It has had this same owner for the past 30 years and it is spotless, absolutely gorgeous. Let's go!

Ah! reminds me of my own 1977 911S that I bought when I started working for a computer company named after a fruit. I was a young engineer with a passion for Porsche's. So I went out and bought an Ivory colored, 1977S Targa with the black out trim, and a deluxe Blaupunkt stereo with microphone for recording cassettes! Mine had the same seats and center console which were options. That is the car I should have kept. Traded her in on a new 1980 911SC, also a Targa but in ice blue (I forget the exact name) and of course the 3.0l engine. And well, here I am after all these years, now with a 2013 C2S coupe in GT Silver..

First 911 I saw in the flesh was a 74 M I think 2.7 in Oban Argyll 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 They are fabulous

Great video, stunning car and such a distinctive and rare colour too. I know my silver 996.1 is nothing that stands out to the rarer models and colours and never wanted silver, but now she’s mine, I love everything about it...can I do 30 years? I’m loving her so far, so let’s see 🤞🏼😉🤍

Great video, particularly the drone footage! I got to it a bit late - as it’s already 3 year old … That old 911 is a beauty. No offence, but to my eye, far more appealing than your 991. Even like the colour. The only thing I didn’t like at all was the exhaust! The original exhaust and muffler would look and sound better IMHO. But, each to their own.

I have a 77 that’s brown with a whale tail… im confused though because the cooling fan says it’s a 3.0sc… but the body is definitely a narrow body (not an sc)… my dad imported the car in the early 80’s from Germany (grey market car), he flew over there and got it him self… im just stumped about it possibly have a 3.0 engine, im pretty sure dad never modded or messed with the car, he was the second owner, and it’s been parked for the last 30 years or so…
