@@kieranjohnston7202 awww, bless ya mate, thanks for getting back. I worked it out in the end, there are large Grub Screws and Locking Nuts that compresses the centre of the torsion springs inside the Axles. These can be undone from under the van, once i loosened the top one it all slotted back into place. Cheers John
@@jolive3743 I'm sure you figured out the individual steel bars need to be arranged in a triangular pattern to fit into the arm. That is why loosening the center bolt relaxes the tension and helps to let them sit naturally into place. But that is not always the case. Any time i have had problems I gently apply pressure on the arm while slowly rotating it back and forth to try to get the plates to fall into there proper position, if they do you should feel the arm slightly move in wards, then you can tap on it. That of course may not work if the plates have any space between them, I have read of others wrapping tape around the plates to keep them in their proper position while they get the arm started. I have never had to do this but i understand the theory behind it. Good luck. Let me know how things turn out!

I tried the tape method to no avail, so tightened the pinch bolt in the Axle back up and then ground the bottom edge of the rods at an angle so they slipped over the shoulder on the insides of the Torsion Arms and they both went in like Butter.......i should be feeling quite smug with my hack but i think i'll wait till i've tested it before celebrating. Thanks though mate, nobody else even tried to help......busy world
