1978-1996 Ford/Lincoln/Mercury "Panther" Steering Gear Replacement 

I appreciate you for making this video! I have to do the same thing to my 93' Crown Vic. I'm a little nervous about it, but thanks to this video, im going to tackle it. Ill be doing new Shock Absorbers & a new Steering Gearbox also. Wish me luck!

I can tell you loved this car. I love my 95 as well. So much so I just bought $600 worth of front end components! For a $500 car lol. It's got a ton of leaks under the engine. Do you know what to look for first? I heard there's some kind of plate around the oil filter that often leaks? Love your vids

I love to do my own wrenching and have done so on many cars and I have to say my 95 Town Car is by far the hardest car i've ever had to work on. It's like everything is designed to be placed 1/16 of an inch too close to every bolt you need to remove. Ever replaced the EGR valve? Mine was underneath the intake, had to get it from underneath after taking off the cat. Literally took me 3 weeks of off and on working on it to replace. My '13 Honda CRV is a dream to work on in comparison. Wouldn't trade my Lincoln for anything though

Did you have to make sure the steering gear was in the center loacation?
