It's time to start on a new project! This 1978 International Scout has been waiting patiently since 2020 to be cleaned up and rebuilt. Now is the time.
My Dad bought a scout brand new in 1977. The dealership was on 27th ave south of Bethany home road. Probably the same place the original owner of your Scout bout his. My dad had his until he passed in 2001. Lot of memories in our Scout
Very cool scout , I wish mine was in that good of condition before starting, up here in Canada they are pretty rough . We are doing a very similar build . Look forward to seeing some more videos on this build . Cheers from Canada 🇨🇦
We are pretty thankful it’s in such good shape too. Scouts are known for rot. Good luck on your build and we’ll be posting progress videos as we go along. Cheers!
I bought a 1978 in similar condition (your body is better) original engine, runs but needs driveability help. I paid $12,500 about 6 months ago. Good luck with the build. It is a great looking Scout II and I like your just the way it is!
@@luckypawsgarage I will be tuning in to see how your goes. Every person who comes to my house and sees the Scout in the garage loves it! They all want to buy it!
Since it is somewhat yellow it should have the black "Don't Tread On Me" rattle snake with e meanings behind what it represents as to why they chose a rattle snake.
@@tysonlarson1294 it is not in original condition anymore. Motor and transmission have been sold. It is LS swapped and is being outfitted with new interior pieces, bumpers and other bits
