This is the Heritage Recreations Leyland Mini 1275LS.
Not a matching numbers car, it has a spare 1275 engine to get it close to original if needed.
Fitted with a healthy 1310cc pushing 72hp coupled with a straight cut gearbox, this car is a joy to drive.

Would you share who you outsource your builds to or would you want to discuss ideas about building 500hp mini like Gildred racing have.

No for sure, Dad designed the specification for the engine build (coil/ starter/ rockers (Keith Dodd) Carby and head porting). We could have gone for more HP with a bigger Carby but we didn’t want to start playing with the firewall. Minisport in Adelaide put the project all together and arranged the dyno tune.

Hi Simmo, We design and project manage the builds of our cars. Although we have technical abilities we outsource a majority of the detailed builds however we do a lot of the assembly.
