Its hard not to get ridiculously sentimental about games like this. A good sprinkling of legends in traditional kits, all plying their trade on proud Swinton 's great old ground. 😊
Keith mumby arguably the best Fullback from this era, not many got round keith, and he always took the ankles. Great Bradford Northern LEGEND. Superb bloke too
Fantastic Northern memories!!!...Thank u so much for posting this great day 4 Northern...If the bulls side of today had half as much heart and desire of these heroes then they'd not be half way down the table in the 2nd division!!!...Look forward to seeing any other Northern matches you can repost from the archives!!!...👍🏻👏🏻🏉😍
That wasn't 'the' Neil Fox who came on as a replacement was it? He started his career in the 50s! Full credit if it was, he didn't look out of place in that company. Interesting difference in styles compared to the Australian game, defense much looser in UK but more creative in attack. Probably the opposite in Oz.
Plenty of veterans on show in that game in addition to Neil Fox. Widnes players Bill Ramsey and Doug Laughton both started their careers in the early 1960s as did Bradford “ MOTM” Bob Haigh. 👍
They played some great rugby above their years Cammy, really enjoyed it. Tyler's a right handful, they need to use him more in my opinion. Looking good pal👍
