When his multi million dollar epic Raise The Titanic flopped, crippling his company, Grade quipped "It would have been cheaper to lower the Atlantic." If that's not style, I don't know what is. Great piece thanks for posting.

Lord Lew Grade. Mr Entertainment himself. Responsible for so many legendary series it belies belief that one man could have achieved what Lew did in one lifetime. If anyone was worthy of a Knighthood and becoming a Lord, it was Lew Grade. We all owe him so very much.

From 5:59 to 6:04, it is very interesting to see the old Hollywood sign as it was crumbling (replaced the same year this story aired) at the same time Mike Wallace says, "There is, today, a shortage of films on the world market." A clear sign (no pun intended) that business in Hollywood was, by that time, no longer as lively as it was during the industry's Golden Age. Glad today it's back on its feet and continuing to prosper in a whole new way.😊
