This really took me back. Owned a green and white 76 FJ55 for 8 years. Got me home from night shift through the country reliably through those harsh winters of the late 70s, but salt was hard on it. Beautiful, tasty restomod that whoever did buy her (I called her the Green Dragon🐉🐉🐉) bought a real classic. Toyota doesn't make them like this anymore, and I do enjoy my 80 series/LX 450, but I'd sure like to ride in this one more time.
Had one, too, overturned it in the Sahara but it got me home well. I appreciate your presentation and can share the emotional involvement behind your comments. Good luck - but never miss to quench its thirst - as long as you can afford it.
Yeah I get what you are saying. I built this to use it and took it on multiple offroad trips. So I added features I wanted for those trips and I have no regrets with the mods I did to it. That's what is great with vehicles, we all get to build them the way we want. This just sold, new owner loves it!
Well, if you owned it then you could put 7.50 -16 tires on it. But you don’t so you can just look at other peoples ride and wish you had one to put 7.50-16 tires on .
