I am making 500 ft pounds and 500 HP with my 388 stroker. I have pro comp heads almost 600 lift cam and a air gap intake with 10.5 comp ratio. I have the dyno sheet to prove it and videos of the engine on here. I have not run the car yet, the 15 sec runs are before I rebuilt the engine.

Port matched manifold tp heads, runnin 112 vp race gas, now have a powerglide in car 5200 converter with transbrrak and 1.86 first gear also 4.30 gears out back will post time slip this summer
mr85gbody hasn't been around to long because just looking at the limited view of the engine bay you can see 500+ worth of stuff under the hood but what r u running as far as exaust I love the sound
You're running racing fuel? Or premium? Also what Carb do you have in there? Is it a full Roller motor? Hard to tell over the internet but that thing doesn't sound like it's over 500 HP.
Not trying to down talk you or anything, and I've only built 2 small blocks in my limited experience. It seems like your torque would be shit with that setup, that's got to be pushing 11:1 compression out of that 355 I'm guessing? Fuel cell? I just haven't heard of many 355's pushing those numbers, hell the 383's I've seen that hit 500 usually push 10.5:1 with ridiculous cams and even then their torque curves are shit.

if youre not new to this then you should know that people are making 550 hp with DUAL PLANE intakes .. let alone a ported hurricane, super vic, or brodix hv1000 .. mr. expert
Mr 85gbody is dummern hell I run a power plus hurricane on my 355 that's a solid roller with dart 230cc heads an forged rotating aselmbly an made 563hp an tried dual plane ..I had to have it milled an ported also an it made 524 so yeah mrs body that says how much you know
U can't judge HP by sound, y would a guy lie about HP?learn something new err day.I hate them big ol heavy oil motors lsx is the best bang 4 ur buck nowadayz u may be pushing 360 HP dude
