As I re-watch these tournaments from the 70s and early 80s I am struck by how well Nelson Burton, Jr. did the color commentary. He and Schenkel were truly the Madden-Summerall of bowling.
It is not easy to try to win 3 games against your fellow pros. Thanks for posting this. There was nothing like Chirs and Nelson with the bowling on Saturdays and then going right to WWOS with the legend Jim McKay.
