I love watching the russian athletes. They were completely natural. They didn't have gym bodies or anything. They looked like ordinary people mother's and daughters who one day decided to do athletics.

I also doubt that the Soviet girls were clean. Olizarenko had some serious muscle - look at her at the very beginning of the clip. Her finish looked unreal - a woman should not be able to run that fast at the end of 800m. But she was not like Flo-Jo with unexpected results out of nowhere - Olizarenko was an experienced runner with plenty of medals and good results throughout her long career. She ran 800m in 1:56.09 in 1984 after giving birth to a child.

Also, Soviet athletes trained very hard for the 1980 Olympics. They were pretty much ordered to win.
