Burgerpants being just some dude with a hat is honestly perfect, imagine him just taking the hat off when the barrier is broken and running off shouting that he's finally free, all while the other monsters are in absolute shock that they had another human all along.
He absolutely looks like he came from some alternate jojo part where it’s like really far in the future and everyone is just really fabulous robot stand users
David Bowie already has experience..down in the underground (whoa oh oh oh ohhhh) You'll find someone true (thats underground) Down in the underground (whoa oh oh oh ohhhhh) A land serene, A crystal moon! AAaaaahh, ahhhh!
This has to be the most accurate “Undertale as an 80’s dark film” video I’ve ever seen. Compared to the others, this one is more consistent and occasionally dips into the uncanny valley, which is something I would see in an 80s film, and it adds to the charm. Great job nailing it!
What I love about these is that it's like we are glimpsing into an alternate universe's tv... and just wondering how the imagination of an entire generation could have been influenced by a movie called Undertale that really pushed the creative limits on all these designs... it's so fascinating! (Undyne and Mettaton looks so cool!)
Aaaaah I've been binge watching these but this is my favorite so far! Especially because you did some extra characters (like Gerson and the River Person) and showed some "failed" attempts just to show off how cool (or funny) they were! One thing I've learned about Undertale and AI - every Mettaton EX and Papyrus are perfect, and every Sans is very cursed lol. Toriel is 100% Jim Henson energy and looks like the kind of movie that would give me nightmares as a kid, but I actually love her so much. I love how she and the others actually don't look very much like goats; they have the asthetic while still looking much more like monsters. And even though I get why you chose the Asgore you did (matched Toriel much better), those two human-looking ones with the beards were epic. I have the hots for every freaking version of MTT EX. Slay, you sassy robot you. I always love the contrast of Frisk looking frightened and Chara looking angry, or bitter. The River Person image goes so hard. Temmie will haunt my dreams eternally. I love Burgerpants so gosh dang much, like it's a dude in a cat-ears hat and yet it works perfectly. All the Mew Mews were so cute! I actually think a younger one might work for her, since Mew Mew is not only a doll, but an anime doll, and anime girls often have larger eyes and more childlike expressions. Ironically, despite this being my favorite one of these Undertale-as-AI videos, this might be the most cursed Alphys I have ever seen lol. Every other version I disliked most of the characters _except_ Alphys lol
@@crackerpacket7 In this case it was probably the "hoodie in a dark fantasy setting" breaking its brain... and possibly whatever description they were using to try and get his smile right.
It's weird, the AI almost always gets Toriel right but but almost always messes it up on Asgore. Toriel looks like a literal goat person, but Asgore either looks like a demon or a human with horns.
Undertake fits so well with this format because the story is already a dark fantasy and the game itself has an 80’s feel. Part of me thinks this movie already exists in an alternate timeline XD
i get why they didn't make the cut but I absolutely love the more human-like versions of monsters, SPECIALLY Meryl Streep Alphys, cause it feels so random but also definitely a choice they would make
Some of those versions of Alphys are reminiscy of that 'Dinosaurs' show from the '90s. Overall, this is very 'Labyrinth' meets 'The Dark Crystal' with hints of that 'Dungeons & Dragons' cartoon from the '80s (which would also work for Deltarune). 3:24 'Jason and the Argonauts' (1963) 4:19 Ray Wise circa 1987.
Oh this works PERFECTLY. I'm usually not a big fan of the AI interpretations unless they've been manually edited later, but here there's literally nothing to change imo (maybe except for Undyne who I'd give a glam rock type of aesthetic). If that movie was ever real it'd be a cult classic for sure. And I love the unused cabbage Flowey design, that's just absolutely adorable
I imagine burgerpants just being another human that got trapped underneath by accident. He now hides as a monster among them so they dont take his soul away. That could be the reason why he is so stressed all the time. And they dont notice hes a human because idfk logic.
@Enigmatic encounter lol I didn't say it was THE Fellswap Sans, I said A FELLSWAP I.e. a version of Blue that is edgy. There are a limitless amount of alternates ya know 😉
@@nor4205 bruh people still calling swap blue, just call him swap. Blue is a cringe uwu version of underswap sans. Also swap makes way more sense because he is underswap sans. For someone with a canon horror sans profile picture I wasn't expecting you to call him blueberry. Like would call dusttrust sans blue?
@Enigmatic encounter lol bruh. Not about to get into a debate about fandom stuff with you. There are many versions of Swap. There is an uwuberry type, a Blueberry, a Blue, just like there is a Red, or call him Fell... please... don't gatekeep in a fandom that has its basis in endless alternate possibilities... be chill. Enjoy the creativity. Don't get hung up on name wars... or else I'll assume by your comments that you're just a school kid.
@@nor4205 oh and underswap papyrus going through dusttale is called swapdust not dustswap I'm sick of people calling it dustswap when its canonically swapdust
Temmie looks terrifying. Frisk looks cute but sad. Chara looks cute but mean. MTT looks insane. Mettaton EX looks gorgeous. Undyne is missing her gills. Asriel is adorbs. Flower looks creepy. Burgerpants is hilarious. Sans is nightmare fuel. Papyrus looks awesome as usual.
God I actually want this now. Imagine it; an earnestly written attempt to tell the neutral UT path with all the limitations of people in costumes on practical sets. Maybe alternate cuts of the movie for other routes. Smaller characters like Flowey or Alphys being depicted by puppets, inhuman designs like Mettaton being stop motion. Everyone acting in character, cracking the same style of jokes as in UT. I know no greedy production company would ever agree to shell out the cash to hire that many performers, build that many sets, design so many puppets, but.... do we even need their help? Hear me out; high quality CG models of almost all characters. Motion-captured/referenced to real people acting out their scenes. Special attention being paid to facial expressions and physics. Rendered in a powerful engine. All the little mistakes being masked behind the fuzz of the older formats. Imagine rendering out the movie in 480p, and then blurring it. It's not impossible! (I mean, PT looked like real life to me, and that ran off of last-generation hardware!) And out of everyone, wouldn't Toby be the one to greenlight a property like this?
Sans is my favorite Undertale character, but there's something about these AI pictures that just can't get him right. I've seen good AI creations for all of them, except him. It always draws him weird and wrong, imo.
I think that if this movie was released in the 90's it would be produced by the company that made Matilda, in fact I think Frisk could be played by Matilda's actress
these are really interesting because in Every single one of these the generation for frisk or chara always look very similar, one of the faces in particular though. also alphys' been a girl what
