@Thadeus Smith The seat that was on this bike was actually in good condition so I was able to reuse it. However the seat cover is new from pit reblica. You can generally find their seat covers on eBay..
I’m in the process of restoring my 1978 JR50 and I’m curious about the tank paint you used. Did you find an accurate paint code or did you just mix up a custom color until you had it right?
I had quite a time with the paint color. I ended up having to try again until I had it right, or as close as I could. The final version was the 3rd time painting. First was too bright yellow, 2nd was too orange.
