Hi Craig, This was a fun day I only met Moose this summer in 82' hanging around Andover St. yard in Lawrence as you know and I was up here with my wife (at that time) I just got out of the military in 81' and haven't been to N.Conway in 4yrs so this was great fun, I got divorced a year later !!! To young and dumb Lol. But after this I started going on railfan trips with him,this was a cool find and brings lots of memories again. I looked in the back ground for me and the ex but no luck ! thanks for the vid. Craig !

Is there a connection with the outside world anywhere? The line to the south is only used to Conway, and a freight short line runs south of Osipee, and the line into Maine isn’t used and northward the line from Whitfield to St. Johnsbury, VT is out of service.

Fantastic video. Been riding the rails there since 91. Wicked cool to see some of the stuff that isn't there anymore such as the Almar and the open boxcars.

What whistle was 7470 or 47 at the time wearing during this time period? It doesn't sound like the B&M peanut 5 chime she has now. Is it the B&M 3 chime?

108 has been sitting in pieces in Texas since 1998 when it was sold to a man down there to try to restore it... Now its all but lost...

What whistle is 7470 or "47" wearing in this video? Sounds like her B&M 3 chime, but I can't tell.
