I grew up during the 80's riding an IT175 Yamaha but i had a bit of an obsession with the RM bikes. They just looked like what a motorcross bike should look like. Diggin this resurrection! Knarly bike man. Lucky dog to get to play with that 465, thats a rare bike for sure....
Thanks man, my main competitor is a YZ100 with an IT175 engine stuffed into it. I definitely have a respect for those bikes, but the Suzukis have my heart. This RM465 was the one bike that I said I would buy as soon as I saw one that was close and I could afford. I've never regretted that purchase.
This is actually so helpful! I had similar issues with my bike, and I was having a hard time finding a tutorial, and then I came across yours. Thanks, man, for the help!
Old school two stroke knowledge right there. Those people who never worked on old bikes never needed to know this, so it's hard to find how to do this.
Race that bike in Open B class, loved the 4 speed gear box, second gear start, and raced it in second and third all day. PS beat all the Honda's every time.
I start in second gear when I race this one. The only problem is that we do dead engine starts, so I have to be very strategic about where I place the bike at the starts. I can't have my left foot lower than my right.
@@vintageadventurerrides yeah it’s really interesting to watch someone like you and I love to do the same but am only ten but made a thousand dollars so it’s pretty fun to watch and learn
@@coleybearsgaming7831 I'm not exactly trying to be educational, but I learned a lot of what I know watching videos like the ones I'm making. If you can take anything away from my videos, that's great.
