Up and running again! Always cool to see an old vehicle get back up and running. Hopefully, it'll find a new owner quickly who'll finish it and get it back to running and driving reliably. Wish I lived closer, I'd be interested, looks like she wouldn't be a bad project to take on.
Had my Son out working with me on trucks from the time he could walk. Graduated from High School #1 in his class with his Sister #2 right behind him. Went to college for Diesel & Heavy Equipment and graduated #1 again. Now he teaches there AND has his own shop. Keep that kid out there with you!
@tcfinds My younger son is lazy as all get out but that's because Mommy babies him. It REALLY is! When my Wife complains to me about him I remind her of the "problem." She agrees and then coddles him some more. Oh well, 3 outa 4 ain't bad. My 2 Daughters are great too, she deserves A LOT of the credit for the 3 good ones too!!!!
Wrenching on rusty, junky, abandoned vehicles while spending hard earned money to do so makes all us gear heads m3ntally insan3 Tyler! 🤣 Glad you got the truck running and moving under it's own power. Enjoyed the video very much my friend. Keep at it and happy wrenching 🔧🔩
If it's date of manufacture is 12/83 that means it's a 1984. Chrysler started building their next year vehicles in September they have the big shut down in August to get ready for the next years model and September starts the new year so anything from September of 1983 would be a 1984 model year. I use to have a 1983 Dodge D100 it started life with the leaning tower of power then I put a 318 in it out of a 1985 ex cop car the truck was black with a short box that I put the 15x7 police steel rims on it and it looked awesome. I still have the truck but it's a parts truck now since the body is no more since many Canadian winters beat the living crap out of it but I have a 1979 D100 now that is in mint shap that is used as a summer truck only.
