The beauty of this car just went up one more notch, the led lights are beautiful and bright, the question are they street legal they look too bright to me?

Thank you for that recognition….such a crispy look. Yes……very street legal. I purposely angled my video/pics to get the brightest light emitted. On the street in day/night it’s as normal as it should be.

Wow, talk about brightness. I would have to see in-person to get a true understanding. The one thing I believe you need to do is move the doors back to stock. Those plushy leather inserts are just bizarre. Finding the correct door cards/material won’t be too hard. Contact Bob Youngman first. He’s the SEC parts guy. All in all this is a huge step up over the other two SEC’s. Have the timing chain checked for stretch and absolutely look at the chain guide. If it’s dark in color you will 100% want to change it. If it breaks or cracks it’ll grenade the engine. Just make sure to use the genuine Mercedes guide. Absolutely 100% flat out not the Febi part. Or URO. I’m looking forward to seeing everything you do with this baby.

Thank you again bro. You’ve always helped out throughout my projects. You really don’t like the door panels? I like them. 😂 They go well with the seats and interior. Regarding the chains….even though they’ve been upgraded to the the dual timing chains……are they still prone to failure?

@@goldelementautoworks How long ago was the upgrade? I would say if within the last 10 years it’s not to worry. But it doesn’t hurt to have the guides visually inspected. Man, I love that you are into these older cars! Not enough people are. Many of the SEC’s are bought by collectors and shoved into garages where they sit and collect dust. That’s a crime. These cars are meant to be driven! I can see you know that.

@@ItsTimePictures Yes sir!! It feels so good driving such a special car. Yeah…I know it’s not fast or performance oriented to today’s standards. I have other cars I drive for that purpose. This car is a classic worth being seen by the masses. My neighbors and surrounding community are at awe when I drive past. It’s fun.

@@goldelementautoworks Yeah, that’s what is so fun. Wherever I go with the SEC or SDL people want to see them and talk about them.

Very nice. Are they complete new custom LED lights or did you convert old ones with LED bulbs or what did you do? Beautiful car!
