all in all, it was a much needed improvement. there were a couple of unforseen outcomes of doing this; 1, my carburetor needed to be readjusted for whatever reason. it was running surprisingly too lean after the smog delete. 2, the exhaust is much louder without the cat, which means the muffler was likely already shot and the only thing keeping it quiet was the cat. so I'll need a new muffler. other than that, I am happy to have this done!
