I got tbi on my s10 Won't start replaced plugs wires caps check fuel line new fuel filter I'm stumped even did the pigtails on the TBI system I really have no clue what stopping the fuel from getting up into the carburetor
good video! I need some advice on something. I recently bought n 1986 chevy truck with a V6 4.3. It has a propane system on it and the original carburetor is no where to be found. I have a 78 quadrjet that I just rebuilt and would like to install it. the truck intake manifold is the original spread bore quadrajet carburetor. Also this engine has the electronic spark control distributor without the vaccum advance. if I put this 78 carb I got on it do you think it will work just fine?
You should make a video showing where all the rods and springs go. I took mine apart and after a week of letting it soak in fuel I forget what goes where lol
I've had carb issues with my 83 s10 Tahoe since I bought it 3 years ago. I've had the carb rebuilt twice since then and I'm still having a loss of power on hills and inclines. Please message me if you have any tips or suggestions on how to fix this issue. Thanks!
From what I know and have heard from friends is that’s one major flaw with carbureted engines. They loose power on inclines. So it may not necessarily be something wrong with the carb. May just be simply because it is a carburetor
