Thanks for posting this. I own an '81 C10 single long and was thinking about dropping it. People told me 4/6, but this is just a tad low to me. Thanks for letting me know what it looks like before I spent money on something that I, personally, would immediately want to replace! Love live the Squares!
I love these trucks. When I find them in OK shape I buy them and fix them up. The 84 I sold to a guy in Florida. The blue 1 I still have plus a 76 blazer.
Yeah it's clear. I sort of feel your love to these trucks. I feel that they remind you of the good stuff in life. But you also feel that the world has moved far away from those values... :(
I tell you what! - If I wasn't planing to move to Mexico as soon as possible, I would definitly sell both my cars and maybe my bike to get one of these beauties. I think i would prefere an 73, but they are all gorgeus! Also I would like a Blazer liftet with 44's for some avventure driving! And a Chevrolet Caprice box original but slammed... :)
DODNT SELL IT KEEP IT AND DO THE OTHER ONE THE SAME WAY I HAVE ONE AND RIGHT NOW ITS A PROJECT AND PEOPLE STILL WANT TO BUY IT LONGER YOU KEEP IT THE MORE ITS GONNA COST YOU DID A GOOD JOB
Did you have to do anything special to it when you put the wheels on it? I’m really wanting to get some 20’s but don’t want to rig anything up. Thanks for the help.
I got an 83 Chevy C10 in the drive. Just got it 3 days ago and it needs work, but everything is there all original. Has 350 engine in it. got it for $900 with rebuilt engine. Body is rough. Also have a 1985 Chevy C10 with no engine or tranny, all is there tho, down to the cig lighter. Going to drop a Corvette engine C4 tha I have in the garage, just need a tranny.
nice truck bro!! i would like to know if the bed rails came with the truck or they after market if they are please let me know where did you get them i have 1984 i would like to get ones for mine thanks
nacho3679, What is the size of rims (22" x ?) and tires you are running on the front and back? Man I love this truck. Where did you have the drop kits installed? You said you bought the truck in Tyler Tx. so I take it you had the work done in TX. I live in SETX.
What kind of speakers do you have in it? Also what kind of radio do you have and did you just disconnect the old radio and speakers and then connect that one or what?
Thanks for the info, could you help me out with this next question if possible. I have a short bed also it's stock l want to put 22x11 in the rear lm using your truck as a guide. Since you have 22x9 do you think the 22x11 will fit in the rear . But your video l couldn't tell how much space left from wheel to fender. You got messages sitting right l might go with the 22x9 if the 11s rub. I Appreciate your help Sir.
damian ficklin what wheel needs a tire? Is your truck lowered? If it is lowered and you want it to tuck without cutting your differential you will probably have to do like a 285/30 on a 22x11
Sad to hear but hopefully you will have one in the future. I am still a while a way before my build starts. SO these videos on youtube get me by for now.
Thank you for your help, I run across a lot of parts and different things pertaining to cars and trucks if you looking for something or can't find what you looking for hit me up l probably have it or help you find it. just in case you need something for your 87 day rod .The info you gave me helped.
I sold the truck a 2 years ago. I sold it for $13000. I regret it. I sold it too cheap! I now have a 1978 chevy c10 and a 1976 Chevrolet blazer k5. Both 2wd. Will be uploading videos soon.
truck is a turn key truck!! For yauh people that dont know what that means-it means that you turn the key and it starts right up! no hasitation. Dam My truck is sweet! realy having second thoughts about selling it. $14,500.00 obo
Gandhi Flores they are both aluminum. These are sprayed gun metal and other is chrome plated. Chrome is like a few hundred more. So for chrome your looking at around $2400 give or take.
You can only buy them through coys. You can try ebay. I already purchased 3 sets from coys co. Everytime I had to wait like a month to get them. No pictures on my trucks yet. Still working on them. Waiting for better weather. Weather has been bad in Austin tx. So can't really work on them as much as I wanted. If you live near Austin TX I'll might consider selling you my gun metal coys. They are new. I'm thinking about buying billets.
how much??? i live in riverside ca..... if its not too much for shipping ill probably get them off u...got an 86 silverado same exact color red and white...
cuate1904 no bro I did not see the blazer. That sucks. Would have at least like to look at it. The wheels are $1700 shipping I don't know. I'm guessing to California is going to be $150-$250 not sure. Try looking on Craigslist. But nah I wouldn't pay that much extra. Coys I think has them for $1300 -$1400 just wheels. Sometimes free shipping or sometimes they charge you $100 more for shipping. Tires you will have to get over there. I think if you get a wheel and tire combo with them it comes out a little to pricy for my taste.
ill give u1600 for a set gunmetal??? are they the same exact size and back space as the one on youtube??? if u can check on price for shipping please that way i can get them off of u...those bed rails?? were they original or did the previous owner install them? im probably going to put my 77 gmc jimmy 2wd for sale soon let me know if u have someone that would want it...
you need to put better brakes on it it's gonna be a lot harder to stop I mean factory size is like 15s that's a 7 inh difference homie that's alotta metal I would go with a set of wilwood breaks or baer . oh and nice truck bro.
