I just finished fixing my 84. Literally spent 7 days 0730-roughly 2100 working on my 84 and reading all kinds of write ups... you just just explained everything in 15 mins.

Super helpful, thank you for this! I’ve been doing a bunch of rats nest repairs to my ‘84 recently as all the rubber tubing is dried out and has pinhole leaks. Do you think you could go over all the linkage cables that go to the carburetor too? That’d be a good video, as diagrams aren’t super clear in that area and removing those cables without taking the carburetor off is a massive headache to the uninitiated. Great video, as always! 👍

What did I do to cause my fuel pump to run when key off and brakes applied, I only installed an a/m fuel pump ?

So what to do when you delete the rats nest, do you cut that harness ?
