This was our televised game of the week here in UK. Our D, led by Greene and Easley was absolutely phenomenal that season. Kreig was never better than he was that season and Largent, showed why he is the greatest Hawks player of all time. If only we hadn't of lost Curt Warner for the season with an ACL, who knows what we might have achieved .Go Hawks
@@stuvo1977 Yes, sadly we'll never know, but that was the first great Hawks team. Anyway at least we were able to pay John Elway and the Broncos back for all the trouble they caused us by destroying them in the SB.
Only if Elway was playing for the Broncos in today’s game. Could you imagine the highlights between him and Patrick Mahomes twice a year for division crown AFC west.
Darryl Turner was really something. Went great with Steve Largent. Seahawks were the first team I loved as a little kid. Gave the Raiders fits. Beat them 4 times in a row 1978-9. Nobody else ever did that. Once had the sharpest uniforms in football. Now suck in NFC West. As does entire N.F.L.
Seattle had a window open for big things. However, it closed abruptly when Curt Warner was injured for the season. Had he not gotten injured the Seahawks would have been a really interesting team to watch for years.
Am glad to finally see this. For some reason, after my Cowboys, my second favorite team had usually been Denver. I was following them in the great 1984 season and like most, figured this game could decide the division. Unfortunately, I was traveling in an area that was covered by a Louisiana channel that covered the 49ers beat down of the Saints instead of this more meaningful, and clearly better game. I was struck as I saw the back and forth scores, and ultimately disappointed by the outcome. But I was soon forgotten since the Division actually came down to the last week of the season and Denver-rather shockingly-dominated the Seahawks up in the Kingdome.
That was a FACEMASK!!! Go to the 24:15 mark, and watch!!! The HL is right there and can see it all as, Dr. Dan, is is heading for the edge. There's NO-WAY the Official could've missed it!!! Look at the DAMN thing!!! This is just one for instance out of too many to even count now, of the game being RIGGED!!! It doesn't take much to do it either. It also doesn't alway's work, so get that outta your skull too. Sometimes a game just can't be FIXED, so in reality CHEATING is an art form when you think about it. Just ask the SEAHAWKS who played in SB XL. Worst officiated team in history by far. So bad in fact that the NFL literally changed how they chose SB Officials. It use to be the entire crew as a group, but now it's individual. No doubt in my mind these things aren't RIGGED one way or another. GO HAWKS!!!
