It's only been about four years since they formed a pair, right? It's amazing that they got first title right after they became a senior. they really have achieved a great many things. Just a legend! !
I think they just had such natural talent and chemistry on the ice and of course since they started skating young and got put together young, they had nowhere to go but up!
I assume you mean at the '88 Olympics in Calgary, but they won gold long before that at the 1986 & '87 World Championships, and nearly every competition after 1986.
