I hear it's a 125 HP increase in power. Adding an intercooler is nice too. If you can do this yourself it's worth the price and effort. Particularly a LT1.
I'm not sure who designed the system, but even with longer intake piping it likely would have still had high IAT's. The brained stainless steel silver line you see is the feed line for the methanol injection, to try and combat high temps inside the cylinders.
Unfortunately I owned this car almost a decade ago, so I can only tell you that this was a centrifugul supercharger kit. The intake manifold itself, was the stock unit called a TPI manifold (tuned port injection) The throttle body, not sure where to find one that large anymore maybe used on ebay. Not yet, still working on replacing everything that is outside the engine. New ignition system I'm working on at the moment, and a new brakes / master etc. Car not street worthy yet, but if I do get to a dyno this season I will post an update for you.
