This is the game film of the 11th Annual Philadelphia Daily News City All-Star Football game played on April 14, 1985 at Northeast High School's Charlie Martin Memorial Stadium in Philadelphia. This video also includes the full game day program plus newspaper articles about the game which features the players from both the Public and Non-Public teams. This video was published to RU-vid on the 39th anniversary of the game. The Philadelphia Daily News City All-Star Football game was also sponsored by the Philadelphia Eagles and was established in 1975 to showcase the talents of high school football players from the city of Philadelphia. The game has assisted players in going on to play college football and provided scholarship grants. Blair Thomas of Frankford High School played in this game. Blair went on to be a star running back at Penn State University and was selected in the first round of the 1990 NFL Draft (second overall) by the New York Jets.
