Very nice 1985 Volkswagen Transporter T3 Doka Double Cab for sale. This 6-passenger "doppelkabine" is finished in Atlantic blue with a 4-speed manual transmission. It has been well cared for by its current long-term owner, stored indoors, and includes a clean Carfax report along with 40+ pages of documentation. Currently showing 93,500 kilometers (58K miles) - actual mileage unknown.
The exterior is super clean and shows nicely. The paint is approximately 14 years old yet is glossy and smooth with good panel alignment and a clean treasure chest area. The trim, glass, and lenses are in very good condition and the bed has been finished in Rino liner to protect it. It rides on stock Volkswagen alloy rims wrapped in a good set of Michelin 215/60 R16s with 98%+ tread remaining.
The 1.9L Inline 4-cylinder engine starts, idles, and runs smoothly with plenty of power. The braking and suspension are tight and responsive and the 4-speed manual transmission shifts smoothly up and down through the gears. All vehicle systems are in working order though the stereo is set up to use removable plug-and-play speakers with wiring tucked away in the back seat.
The inside is tidy and comfortable. The original headliner is excellent along with the door panels and cards. The client states that the original cloth seats are in very good condition though there is a small tear in the passenger seat. They are fitted with a nice, newer set of Wet Okole seat covers making it very comfortable while protecting the originals.
