Another thing you can do with a stripped kick starter or gear shift is sleeve it with a bit of coke can.

Put oil down sparkplug see if the compression rises up or check the crank seals

They were bad about the cam chain jumping a tooth and bending valves. Cam chain tensioner wears out prematurely.

U just dont use an intake and exhaust feeler gauge u gotta look up the proper measurements for exhaust and intake like.oo4 and .006

Tip fuel in the spark plug hole

2 strokes are mostly 8mm lol
