1986 Audi quattro v 1994 Lancia HF Integrale - Which One to Choose??

I test drive two classic icons from the 80's & 90's, first up the Audi quattro from 1986 and then the Lancia Delta Integrale from 1994. How do they compare and which one would i choose? Let's find out...

Good review.. it's the integrale all day long,it's an absolute driver's car ... you don't drive an integrale for comfort or build quality.. I had an integrale in 98 and I should never have sold it. Thanks for the review..

Hi Stavros, great video as always. I would have the Integrale all day long. This is one of my favourite cars of all time. I used to love to watch these in the Lombard RAC rally back in the day . Cheers

Yeah, I rather prefer the Delta, and even more on that mighty red! But I must say that the howling sound of that 5 cylinders in the Audi is just amazing...

They aren't. He made a mistake. 955-1340kg for a Lancia Delta. 1290-1350 for Audi Quattro.

The Delta integrale evo 1 & 2 weigh 1350 kg. The 8 and 16 valve predecessors 1280 kg.

While the DELTA is the master about agility, the Quattro seems a plane without wings...Both are on top ten of cars' competitive conception and quality, forever ever.

An interesting deviation from your usual videos Stavros. The one to have here is the Lancia, only available in LHD from new. Keep the revs up and it really goes, a fun car to drive.

I had a large number of Audis about 20 years ago. My least favourite was my Quattro turbo. Very nose heavy, felt very heavy overall, dull as ditchwater interior. Wasn't overly quick. Best thing by far was the noise.

Stavros , I think you could make a video comparing two different brands of coffee and it would still be interesting . I had an Audi 80 tdi for years and once I experienced Audi quality no other car comes close. Thanks 😊

When I first looked at it and heard your accent I thought you were driving on part of the Donegal Rally route! The first time I went to see that in the late seventies, Billy Coleman won it in a whole other Lancia! I probably would take the Integrale too and live with constantly crapping myself about how much it will cost to repair when it inevitably breaks down! 😁😁

A good friend of mine had the integrale evo 1 was a stunning car But couldn't touch my sapphire cosworth it used to leave it standing on the road....maybe a different story on the twisty lanes though 👍 Great video stavros

Lancia's heritage, and the 1983 rally alone makes it my favorite brand. Even though I think the Audi is the better "car", no contest I'd choose the Lancia. The 037 is even wilder.

remember that the quattro came first and was manufactured in the 80's the Lancia came after the quattro in the 90's, it's not a like for like comparison, should have compared the 20v quattro from 1991.

Both great cars, Lancia for me by far my favourite group B rally car.... you need to throw in a T16 Peugeot 205 and a 6R4 Metro for your next test !!

The Delta integrale isn't a Group B car, that was the Delta (lookalike) S4, it's predecessor. It's actually a Group A car.

That's a cool digital dash, it looks clean and 80s. Modern digital dashes look like nothing and merely a way for manufacturers to save money. They will all look horrible in five years time.

SHAME SHAME on the person that has an integrale and puts on arguable the ugliest shifter knob ever made it is not even real carbon fiber...the aftermarket radio is understandable.. putting that knob on decreases the value of the car
