I would of like to seen this end up in our yard to add to our foxbody family , what a nice little car it just needs a little love, thanks for sharing this beauty
Brings back memories!, I had 3 Foxes between 1998-2013, A 89 and two 91's, The 89 was a GT, 1st 91 was a Coupe the last was a LX Hatch, All 3 were AOD's
👍👌👏 Runs and sounds great, strong and healthy. It's the perfect car for people with not much money but time. Repairing the vehicle while still be able to drive/enjoy it. Rolling restoration. Congratulations 🎉 for already having sold this Mustang. Best regards, luck and especially health to all 4 of you.
One of the ( very ) few things i like about living in CA is we have rust free cars to buy. This car would NEVER sell out here. Im restoring a '73 AMC AMX that is 50 years old now and has NO rust whatsoever. I feel bad for those who must choose the rusty junk back east..
Excellent video Chris :) also nice car and hopefully new owner buy take care of Mustang and fix it need too! Take to vechiles shows in May to October also win prizes on too I know my one cousin who had years ago 1983 Mercury Capri LX hatchback in 2 tone light also dark brown body , it was 200 6 cylinder motor with 2 barrel carb, 4 speed Automatic transmission with Overdrive , 377 posi rear, five seater in cloth seats in black , brown interior, orgnail am /fm Cassette tape radio with 5 speakers 3 in dash also 2 back hatchback power steering also brakes even air conditioning and rare T Tops roof ! Rims 4 bolt with plastic Spinners hubs ! Even tilt steering wheel with Delay Wipers ! She won lots prizes on then someone stolen from driveway in 1993 ! I like performance did too also transmission was shift kit in and did well too ! One thing like about it so funny is was had T with 4 hole slots on each T part!
The front of that car reminds me of the early 1980's RS 2000. Probably due to the price of petrol, or gas, we didn't get the full mustang version in the UK. I remember jump starting my mates RS 2000 on cold mornings, with my Datsun 120Y, lol.
Hopefully the guy who bought it fixes it up correctly....Me personally would rather spend 10k on a nice one and not deal with the headaches of repairs....
@@nnkhmisc oh nice, intrigued to see what she's gone for. Has your love for old beat up cars with a lot of charm rubbed on her or does she prefer a turn key and go, no hassle, car.
Well considering it sold for $3,600 today I would have to say it's a $3600 car. I had well over 100 messages on marketplace with it listed at 4k. Remember, prices vary by region.
No sense putting money into it if you don't plan on keeping it, long term. I'd say it's worth the money, hasn't been hacked to death. Rust is repairable.
Who said the car was 1500? Where do you get your information at. Lol. She's looking to break even on it. It's sold today for $3,600 and that's a sweet deal for such a great running car. Especially in this area. Hope that helps answer your ignorant concern
I bought the car for $3,600. I sold the car for $3,600. I did NOT destroy the clutch. I even fixed some items on the car while I owned it. I don’t know where you got your information from since I never said what I paid for it until now. If the new owner wants to sell the car he will have no problem getting his money back and then some in my opinion. It sold in a matter of a couple of days with lots of interest. Not really sure why you’re so upset about the sale of this vehicle. I appreciate the kind emojis. Have a nice day.
DAMN, WHAT A SHT BOX. AFTER DECADES OF USE, I FINALLY SOLD MY FULLY LOADED 86 GT. IT HAD OVER 326,000 ON IT. SOLD IT IN 2014 FOR 2400. FIRST PERSON THAT CAME AND LOOKED AT IT BOUGHT IT BEFORE TEST DRIVING IT. MY CAR WAS AN 8 COMPARED TO THIS THING. I GIVE THIS A 3. IF I HAD IT TODAY, I'D SELL IT FOR $15,000.
@@nnkhmisc YEP, THEY ARE STARTING TO CLIMB IN VALUE. I HAVE A FULLY LOADED 98 GT CONVERTIBLE NOW. POWER SEATS AND ALL. FUNNY THING THE OLD FOX BODIES ARE GOING FOR A LOT MORE THAN MY 98. AND I WOULD RATHER PUT A BULLET IN MY HEAD THAN OWN ANOTHER 86 COMPARED TO MY 98. GIVE MINE 10 YEARS I GUESS AND THE VALUE WILL SKY ROCKET.
My brother bought a brand new convertible back in 1986 with the 5.0 and 4 speed. I have photos of it somewhere. It was pretty sweet. My other brother bought a brand new Berlinetta Camaro that same year.
