🤙 Just absolutely stupendous! The PC version of motorsport today cannot even BEGIN to compare to this glorious era of open wheel racing! These were true gladiators strapped into fire breathing beasts who put their lives on the line to provide us race fans(this one desperately wanted to be a racer) with a genuine spectacle! Look at the crowds for crying out loud. What more proof do you need?
I remember the day of this race. ESPN was showing the NASCAR Southern 500 live and taping this to be shown on delay at another time. They broke into NASCAR coverage to cover the Josele Garza crash near the end of the race.
seems so strange how during pit stops back then, the tire changers pretty much took their time taking off, then puting on the new sets of tires, no wonder a normal pit stop back then took at least 10 second LONGER than what they are today, and that was when everything went right during the stop.....when thaqt one car had to stop on the side of the track at around 51 minutes, today that would definiatly bring out a full course Caution, but back thenm NOPE, they just raced right by it.....LOL
Is this a joke? I have this race on tape. On my copy you can clearly hear the commentators. This one? All you hear is engines. I love the engine sounds, but I’d like to hear both
