1986 Z28 AND IROC-Z GM VIDEO 

I remember when my dad came home with a white 5-speed 86' Iroc. I was 14 and loved it. Learned to drive with it. 3rd gens are good lookin cars.

Just bought a mint 85 IROC-Z with TPI and T-Tops. Im in love with it already!

I had a red '86 Z-28 that I bought in 1990. I loved that car. It was stolen twice, the first time from a Chevy dealer where they were working on issues with the 4 bbl. It died on the thieves and I got it back. Four years later it was stolen from the parking lot of my apartment complex. It was last seen going 'about 120 mph' to a rural area. Most likely, it's parts live on. It ended up being replaced by an '89 RS.

i would never get rid of my camaro for an import, yuk. nothing like the feeling of taking the tops out on a warm day and driving down the thruway at 70 mph in my nostalgic car. i love her, its allot of fun. i just miss it in the winter, i dont drive her 6 months of the year. salt it way to bad to be driving her. im 28 years old and will probably have this car or another 3rd gen camaro as long as i can.

The IROC-Z still looks amazing today! Timeless. Even though they got faster and better up to the last IROCs in 1990, I still like the early 16 in wheels the best on the IROCs

just picked up an 86 5 speed t-top carburated model in original electric blue with the original wheels and engine. looks like it was parked through the 90s i payed $1200

i wanted one so bad, couldn't find on close enough to pick up that wasn't rediculously overpriced by greedy dealerships, or trashed by private owners. had to settle for a '01 trans am... but i still want a '87 iroc-z more than anything, awsome cars

They really are...I had a black 87 IROC back in the 90s/early 2000s and I feel stupid for letting her go...Everytime I see footage like this I get nostalgic. I've got a Lexus now,but I tell you,I still want my IROC back!!!

I thought I had no options with painting my red camaro with red interior. That gray might be my next color! Looks great!

Last decade America was America the 80s.

when i decided to replace my 94 v6 camaro, i wanted a 305 5-speed 3rd gen. i looked at bunch but sadly they were all beat. i ended up getting a deal on a 93 Z28. still want a 5-speed 3rd gen though.

@87irocz350TPI there is a single key in there, you see it whne he starts it up... it appears like nothing is there because you are expecting to see a set of keys dangling, not a singular key with no ring sitting there...

Already have a 3rd gen Trans AM, but all the z-28 and IROC-Z sales and internal dealership videos youtube has been recommending are making me consider another purchase.....

Rear wiper and auto Rear view mirror dim are very rear options. L69 CARB 5.0HO IS SUPER REAR IN 86.

Last month I drove my 1986 Camaro IROC-Z 28 across America started in Connecticut then New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Iowa, Nebraska, Colorado, Utah, Arizona, Nevada, California, then back to Nevada Las Vegas and Arizona, New Mexico, Texas Oklahoma Arkansas Tennessee Virginia Washington DC Maryland Delaware new jersey and back to New York then Connecticut ... and I filmed the whole trip... I WAS BETTER THAN SEX...Okay I exaggerating, but not by much :-)

I had a '86 Trans Am. Camaros were cool but I much prefer the sleekness and styling of the Pontiacs.

The only thing i cant stand is that the 350 was never offered with a manual

@Crosisborg the stats dont lie buddy... 305 powered irocs with a max hp of 220 and using a 2.5 4cyl in the base model with 85hp was pretty shitty. The 80's was deff a low point in performance history... hell the corvette even bottomed out at 170hp in the early to mid 80's

i love my 86 iroc i used to hate 80's camaros untill i saw this car completely changed my mind but i still think 80's music is terrible especially hair metal....i hate music today too

lmao raw power??? the iroc had like 200 hp in 86 and the z28 had 170. Im sry dude but there is normally aspirated 4cyl on the market that make better numbers than that
