Nice demo. I recorded 999,999 scores for both karnov and karnovj 20 years ago and uploaded them to MARP (replay.marpirc.net/) and I just had a look and they are still there! I loved playing karnov back in the day. I've played all the possible paths through the game. Some maps have upper and lower paths, the last map has divergent paths right throughout the map and took many games to explore them all. The lower paths usually have more bonuses, K's and monsters. Sadly the game is way too easy once you know how to use the powerups. As a test of skill, try playing the entire game without using ANY powerups. It is possible to beat the game that way, we did it back in college when our powerup button on our arcade broke and we kept playing the game anyway for weeks before it was repaired. It is very hard - no diving suit, no super jump, no missiles, no wings or trolley, no hidden powerups, no boomerangs for TRex and worst of all, no ladder!
