I agree with Ronnie however it could still be salvaged. What I would recommend is submerging the entire tank in a solution of Evaporust (I actually have 3 gallons in my garage for some old Magna/Sabre fuel tanks as well - not nearly as bad as that one though). Once it soaks in the Evaporust, that will convert the rust back to metal, then bring it to a welder and have it permanently fixed the right way. Lastly it'll probably need to be repainted again. That's a huge bummer though about that tank. Edit: I would be interested in the tank if for the right price considering all the work it would need to fix it. I would love to see that tank saved as well - I love the older Super Magna's!
