Great video! However, I wish you would show how to replace the bottom guides as those too break. While replacing the oil pump guide I found the lower guides to be worn and very close to breaking so I removed the front cover and digging in to that. I am completely restoring my 560SL (see my RU-vid channel) and have already completed the suspension and now the engine. There are very few videos on the M117 and I appreciate yours. Thanks again.

It's a shame that such skill is not rewarded nowadays. Managers hire cheapest staff and professionals are disrespected. So everyone is running around just to find someone they can trust for whatever job... Dark times. But at least some true pros are always busy with orders...
