In this video you can see how I work on the Bianchi frame, I derust and seal it. I am sure that one or the other will disagree on how I restore the frame. But I feel this kind of restoration is the right one for this framework. The frame is chrome-plated and the rust has settled in some places under the chrome layer and eats up the metal. If the areas are not treated, the rust will eat further and deeper into the material. Have fun watching.

I have a 1995 TSX UL, one of the last years that Bianchi made steel bikes in their Reparto Corse. In that year, they offered an ELOS, and a TSX UL. I originally built it up with 8 speed Chorus ERGO. It looks like you are doing a good job at removing the rust on it.

Nice work man! I have an early 80s Bianchi SS (Japanese frame) that I want to restore and get it back in riding condition

I love how you left the exposed chrome parts without trying to match the color, so you can see it's old bike, it has history. It isn't pretending to be new old stock. But what did you use to protect the chrome layer?

così spogliato presumo. il colore viene via con la sabbia. la vernice sui miei bianchi è pessima ma una nuova verniciatura da un professionista costa 500€. Ho preso la versione più economica.

Danke für deine Bianchi Videos! Jetzt kann ich mit Sicherheit sagen, dass ich nicht die Mittel habe um mein Bianchi Rad selbst zu restaurieren ohne dass es in einer Katastrophe endet.. Wie geht es weiter mit dem Rahmen? wirst du ihn neu lackieren?

Vielen Dank Lubert :) Der Rahmen bleibt jetzt so in dem Zustand. Der Lack ist so gut, da hält er noch paar Jahre. Schöne Grüße
