I still Love these cars in 2023!! I had an '88 LE wagon for 9 years from age 17 to 26 in Toronto. Now 42. Bought it for $700 bucks from a one-owner old lady. 45,000 original kms. Garage kept. Marine blue, totally mint condition in/out, not a scratch on it, drove as smooth as a Cadillac. Never once had any problems/issues with it. Just regular oil changes & sparks, one full tire change. Eventually sold it for an ultra-low km mint white Mazda 323. To this day I still miss this car. All the good times in it with friends. Late night fast food runs, rainy day drives, camping/road trips etc. This car was a friend
It was like being transported back in time as a teenager with parents in the front seat. We had 2 Arise wagons a 1981 and 1984 and many of the variants including a 1988 Dodge caravan with the very same corporate steering wheel of the era. Very good a wild intact survivor indeed.
Yes it gives a real picture of what the cars were like new. Most are tired and worn out and people judge them more on that basis because they never saw or drove them new!
I remember those awesome square dome lights from Dodge from the 80s to the mid 90s on cars like my dads Dodge Daytona from 1986 and the Accept Transportation Dodge Caravans from 1992-95.
Did you get this one from Bring a Trailer? I have one with 32,000 original miles in similar condition. Second owner in Oahu, Hawaii. The engine just stopped working and I'm devistated.
