Don't know about you but I'm listening to this with a tear in my eye. Such good times so nostalgic want to live it all again. I'm 56 now listening to this like it was yesterday 👂
Funny ain’t it, all them years ago when we was bang at it did any of us pause for minute and think “when I’m knocking on the door of sixty I’ll look back and think those where the best days of my life”……….🙂

@@mickeybeam Due to the Corona virus, Jungle Dam 2020 has just been postponed to mid September!! 😢 Perhaps this would be a nice occasion to come back over, though. In fact - you should get in touch with them spin some tunes on stage!! Cheers mate. Keep up the good work! ✌
@@geoffwatkinson3612 I almost cried when I heard one of our DJ friends of friends took all his old hardcore vinyls to the tip and after that became a place for people to donate to, to give a loved and cared for home. So glad I out the word out. I double my collection from 2000+ 12"s to 4500 now. All safe from the tip and still being loved!
So Glad We Had Our Own Club In These Years With The SLAM LADS times 12 DJs back then in Glasgow, just above Nicos In Sauchiehall St we were told by the fire men on inspection 174 people only. Never happend we had 5 nights out of 7 opened with hardcore nights to reggie wednesdays to lock-in's as back in the 1988-1993 year's we had 400+ nightly all booming with ravers packed -in like a good thing ,plus DJs SLAM brought-in from all over the world playing cos i would always sling the smole machine on then a strobe for that amazing effect to all us fulla doves to denace the menace to many good ekkys to dance your head off in the name of a great place with zero trouble as we had Kick-Boxers to Rugby lads as doormen with every monday cashing -in grands in money that back then door tax to bar money. We always got great bands after there gig's on the wild turkey normally and a thing i will never forget being 51 now all i listen to is SLAM RADIO to OLD SKOOL REMIXED CUT'S ON HERE......CHEERS 4 THE MEMORYS .....SHOULD BUGGER THE GOVERNMENT AND HAVE A MASSIVE RAVE OF DEFIANCE TO PROVE THIS CORONA IS A LOT OF CRAP AND JUST A MERE FLU .....WE DID IT BACK IN THE DAY AS THE FRESH AIR WOULD DO US ALL SO GOOD AND THE BEST DJs ...10/10 REMIX ...WOW
Fuck me - just IDed a tune I've been after since I first heard it on Pulse FM 90.6. Been after it for around 35 years ago. Jack or Diamonds (Force Mass Motion). Utterly gob smacked. That only leaves one more tune for me to ID which I had on a Don FM tape back in the day. Only one more tune to complete my collection and I can die happy.
remember selling light sticks to the ravers outside Bagleys with family friends and then seeking in at 14 lol those where the days never to be lived again shame as we need a good illegal rave or to
Jesus Christ, this is just what I need. An escape from the crap of present day, and back to when things made sense. Just a short escape from being worried, and pissed off about the Corona situation, which ONLY exist due to unlimited stupidity and irresponsibility. Can't thank you enough for this, Mickey. You rule. Wishing you all the best.
Wicked wicked and fuckin wicked as I'm righting this the hairs on the back of my legs and neck have just lit up brilliant, if you love this check out DJ rap old skool hardcore classics vinyl mix ,feck me them days were the best days of my life sniffing poppers popping e's dropping acid snorting coke and not forgetting a cheeky wrap of ketamine at about 3 in the morning fuck me if I even smelt a hint of poppers I think I would throw up lol, 3 pints of beer nowdays and I'm pissed lol ,any how big up mickeybeam75 nice one brother 👏👏👏👏👏👏
Mickey. Oh my good God Mickey. It has taken me nigh on 29 years to find out the name of an obscure white label I bought following my first club outing at an illegal rave called Dreamers way back when I was 17. And that white label now has a name. The Tripper Volume 1 A Seriously can't thank you enough for this. This mix is amazing.
Mate this first tune made me get my ps2 out, with gta san andreas, jacked a campervan and cruised to San fierro while listening to sfur 😎thank you so much for this nostalgia trip, much love and respect 😊
Someone help me please...... for years I'm plagued by memories of an old hardcore track......I can't find it ANYWHERE on lyric searches....it was a woman singing: hopes and illusions fade away, make for the beat its time to play, see how the rhythm makes you move, come on....ride the rhythm ...... or something simular ....I swear it drives me crazy, I'm beginning to think it doesn't exist HELP
Was a raver back in the late 80s, loved it, such a friendly collective, went to a lot around Sheffield area, Nottingham, Stoke, whenever could do it back then. still love the vibes ;)
This is incredible. I've always loved this kind of music, discovered it through The Prodigy and an old game called Ridge Racer (and the remix sequel, Ridge Racer Revolution). I've listened to the Revolution soundtrack more than anything in my life.
"We had discovered underground mining machines. Going "DÜB-DÜB" all and all around! Mining some quality tracks! [...] All right people let's go to a soulfull trip now. Schnell! Mach Schnell tanz!" - Hans Oberlander, SF-UR ;)
Super fun mix! 38:44 - LTJ BUKEM - LOGICAL PROGESSION 40:32 - 2 BOASTERS - IT'S NOT OVER 43:03 - THE CLEPTO-MANIACS - POSITIVE FEEDBACK These three songs in a row were awesome for me. The whole set is good. Came here after 1989 - 1993 Old Skool Rave Classics Mix (Part 2) Mickey Beam- which is great. Have this cranked on my desktop Roland speakers all day whilst around my house. Every once in a while you just gotta stop in to dance a while!
Thanks for your uploads Mickey!! Just stumbled onto your channel while, digging for the gold from the 87-91 era. I was a teen during the mid to late 90s Chicago "rave scene". Chicago has always had an incredible house scene at least. Good times, but still know I missed out being on this side of the puddle. Loved the hardcore and jungle. Even some acid house/trance. But when things started going gabber it was lost on me.
Please if anyone knows a tune that comes in at around 35 minutes would just before I will be absolutely over the moon it isn't absolute tune and remember it from when I was raving in the old days please can someone help me with this I would be eternally grateful kind regards Bobby D
@@MrPotmonster Indeed mate! Thanks for reminding me.. 49 years old and still recall the crowd and that "robo" girl in a silver tight costume and helm with antennas rocking the stage ... You def knew the score back in the day!
@@MrPotmonster I'm 35 and was in kindergarten when you 50 year olds were raving, and now I feel too old to be a raver. You were born at a lucky time. :)
I love this whole mix, but that combination of DOC SCOTT - SURGERY (ORDINARY MIX) and WIZ - PIANO and then followed by XRAY XPERIMENTS - TAKE NO CHANCE is just my absolute favorite part of this whole compilation. 🔥🔥😍😍😍😍😍
Hi Mickey the best mix I've heard for so long I'm proper old school please can someone tell me what the name of the tune is that comes on at 35 minutes I remember it from when I was raving and I would love to get on vinyl please if somebody could help me I would be the most grateful person in the world respect everybody Bobby D
This is crazy. I've never listen to rave music, and somehow all these songs seem familiar to me. These sounds feel a lot like the streets of rage (maybe the 2nd) ost. Sweet memories. I bet i like rave music actually. Thanks to this game ^^
Please Mickey could you help me with the name of this tune the one that comes on just basically before the 35 minutes and mixers in I've been after it for so long cheers mate Bobby d
'Dave Charlesworth - Energizer 1A' is just before 35 mins, 'Fast Floor - Open Space' comes after. Could also be The 'Hypnotist - Hardcore You Know The Score' as the Energize track samples all sorts
Hi, I'm Ben. Ray Keith is god, here is also a remix worthy of the original ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-QAHZwmLrQe8.html Big up all Junglists Amen
