Very nicely done Bronco II man!!! Super clean and has a cool twist of style on it. Nice to see someone else taking their time and doing a nice build and trying different things.... and thanks for the shoutout!
Hey man! Alex from Sweden. Just love your built! I am driving a 100 miles this weekend to get me a rust free 1989 Bronco II Eddie Bauer edition with the lift, wheels and facelift already done. But i will do allot of your other upgrades. Thanks for the video, saves me allot of time. Cheers!
You would be shocked at the difference in suspension performance by simply using the Dual James Duff 70/30 shocks in the front instead of any other brand!!
I got my '90 back on the road, fuel tank was full of rust and fuel pump was bad. No rust though, has never seen salt. Your paint is 100% better than mine.
Nice Bronco, I own two, one for off road the other a sleeper w/ a 3.2L turbo coupe engine. I once played around with extension brackets on the TTB. For off-roading it's a dangerous waist of time. In fact for street driving it reinforces the chance of roll over. I found there are ways of lowering the CG of the vehicle and still keep the flex and articulation of the suspension. And it looks better. Nice job, it's obvious you but allot of time and effort into your rig. The B2 is one of the nicest looking Broncos made. Love the visibility out the side glass.
Very nice Bronco II Build, I bet it is a blast to drive through the dunes of Martin Bay. Just be care full of the mud, I made the mistake of trying to go through it in my Dad's '84 BII after the lake dropped. The 2.8/2.9L don't have enough umph to get through it.
Man you guys are killing me. I had a 89 4wd but not lifted. Just stocked. I've regret it since I let the insurance company take it. A deer happened to decide to run toward the headlights and jumped off a 8 ft bank right in front of me and I was running about 70 when I hit it. I hit it so hard it pushed the radiator into the motor but it was middle of the night so I thought it was fine. I turned around to go look at the deer. That's when it began to run hot but I still didn't get out and look at it. The only thing wrong with the deer was one broken rib and head trauma. A cowhorn and it knocked one of the antlers off but besides that, I tenderized the meat by dragging it about 50 ft down the road. I just made it home and that''s when I really got to see the damage. The only thing about mine was the drivetrain. That combination just didn't work. I replaced 2 transmissions, one rear end and just rebuilt the motor. Luckily I just bought a 94 explorer sport but even with the motor upgrade in the explorer, I wish i'd have bought it back from the insurance company and had it rebuilt. I've been looking for one before they became popular again and I just never pulled the trigger. I couldn't find one that was up to par. I'm not to big on that large lift especially with the size tire that's on it but I guess that's probably all the tire that motor could handle. It's a survivor though.
Nice job on the suspension. I’m about to buy the rough country 4 inch lift but would really prefer to pick up the duff gear like you did. What year explorer leaf springs are you running?
Sweet ride. Just picked up an '88 for cheap but pretty rusty... runs and drives and stops tho.. maybe just a mud machine??? Anyways, does the back glass open, independent from hatch? Mine is an xlt and thought it would but it doesn't . ty
Beautiful truck. Also have 2 bronco 2! Just purchased the same steering stabilizer. Having trouble installing it. Did you have to use the back up plate ?
Yes the back up plate bolts nicely to the frame with existing holes..unless you have the RC drop brackets for their 4" sway bardrop it should fit fine.

I love what you did with the grille! I have a bronco 2 and I’d like to do something like that. Could you send me the link to the grille and the lettering?
Hi Gavin: The Blue Ford Letters are sometimes available on EBAY for about $75. I also think Jeff's Bronco Graveyard may have them. The grill is a factory black plastic grill that I modified and added that flat black plate to hold the FORD letters on. I just released another video that shows a quick view of it..check it out
Nilight 50" curved..those mounting brackets are on ebay from a ford ranger..you have to drill holes in the drop rail for best results. Nilight has a wiring loom that comes with the bar, but the switch panel inside I bought on their sight because I had more than one light. The bar kit does comes with a switch for the light bar if that is all you have. It is REALLY BRIGHT.
Awesome truck! I had one 20 years ago, for the 2.9 v6 engine they had a problem with cracked cylinder heads. Did you have the same problem, or another engine? 🥳👍🏾😎🤟🏾
Man original emblems are amazing. Not sure on that choice to remove them. I've owned two over the years. Don't get me wrong. This is an awesome build but just throwing out some generalized opinions not throwing hate at all just fyi.
My Original emblems were not sticking and I wanted to try something different so I had these made. I may eventually swithc back but I wanted a bit of a retro look.

I was all in for around $110 for all of it.
Ya, these v6 motors are not the best..I have another being transformed with a 5.8. Look for the new video on that in a few months. There will be a vid released today that touches on that.
