I agree with Rick about the black church. I played Black Gospel bass for ten years, (I was even the only white guy in some of those churches).

I kept on expecting the guy that was asking Rick all of those questions to say " Shit , you're a real cowboy " !!!

Hey Rick and Tom... the KINETIC PLAYGROUND... :) That was the Electric Theater when I was a kid living in Park Forest. I saw Blue Cheer there in summer of 68. And others. Thanks for the reminder guys. - Jeff (from PEELS band, not Elephants Memory)

The interviewer probably wanted Rick to strip down to see what Rick has...just like the little kid who wants to see the man inside of the Big Bird costume....i.e. "Let's see the magic."
