Like #126. All ads watched in full. To the 5 St. race there (Paperchase) - Hubert Bartley was always so full of confidence and ready to deliver winners I tell yuh. Another excellent ride 'twas.
There was a race with...prince zalair/gispsy queen/fiero...three way photo fanna/bimbo/chinna...it wasn't a feature race, but I think that's the best finish ever at caymanas park...
The Earl Adams trained Strike Force winning with Eric Laidlaw in the saddle, whilst Hallo Pooh with Slicer failed to peg him back. It was the belief of many that Slicer "pulled up" Hallo Pooh and he actually didn't ride another horse for Feanny for many years. Paper Chase broke the track record that day with Bartley and recorded 56 4/5 seconds despite toting topweight of 130lbs, while Feanny's Warr with Slicer flopped as the overwhelming favourite, and the last video saw Walwyn "Belly Rat" Jackson guiding home Jinsky's Parade for owner Theophilus Glispie, who I believe is Fitzroy Glispie's father. Andrew Nunes and Fernando Geddes saddled the last two winners, respectively.
Superb archives..I vividly remember "belly rat".. he was the only jockey that ride a horse called old Bailey for ellien cliggott.. however the old Bailey was always a second fiddle to the mighty distinctive bingo...slamming rivals with a crushing impose of 133 pounds with alwyn bisasor in the saddle.. fun memories
@Kenlar Thompson That day The Viceroy was fitted with the visor for the very first time and literally cantered through the sloppy conditions like a sailboat. Narry was looking all around for the competition lol.

The unique cripsy clear commentary of Brian spuddy Rickman is like a perfect work of art he makes the races more enjoyable could have make his living on the international platform,i am happy that we have him,and still dont lost his spunk and witty phrase that he cions during his race calls,it's a pity we haven't found a suitable replacement after he decided to hang up his microphone or should i say his boots thanks spuddy thanks rohan for going down memory lane really enjoy these flashbacks keep up the good work 😂.

Didn’t Spuddy packed it in Filling for the sandwich (in between horse) Scraping paint (hugging the rail) Eyeball to eyeball (heads on ) Close enough if good enough (if the horse is any good he stands a chance from here) You can forget about that one ( u horse Nuh stand a chance) can go cuss two clart. Really good to see some of these old races.
Lol...narry pinned hussey on the rails so badly hussey couldn't even use his stick...the crowd booed hussey mercilessly when he came back around...narry has special skills.
Jinsky's parade rider didnt used his whip at all, leading by 10 or more lenghts. But if it was these now a days jocks they will give a crack or two i guess.
