Two of the very few teams, including Penn State, that don't do stupid things with their uniforms. Several years ago USC went back to the jersey style from the 1960s and still use it today. I like them better than the ones they are wearing here.
Man, I thought Michigan's special teams play vs Bama in the Rose Bowl was bad. But this is brutal. And it's not just the missed FGs either. The punting in this game was painful to watch.
If college football is going to continue to change, then I ask one thing - let's play the National Championship Game at the Rose Bowl every year. With the decline of the Pac12, it makes no sense to try to keep a Big Ten vs Pac12 matchup. Just play the National Championship Game every year in Pasadena and call it the Rose Bowl.
I agree with you that it is a great venue for a game. Saw Miami thump Nebraska there after the 2001 season. But it is too far to make fans travel every year, especially when the best teams lately are not on the west coast. Continue a scheduled rotation or put it somewhere in the middle like college baseball does.
