@Garage Theory A 1989 Van just became available at Pick Your Part in Santa Fe Springs California. Not sure if it’s close to you but it looks like lots of good body parts.
Aye, my fam had an 86 LE fully loaded with captain chairs, dual sunroof/moonroof, stereo equalizer, and my fave option: a refrigerated cooler with built in ice maker! I miss that van
Thanks to sharing that video , im just learning more about those famous Toyota , , I have an opportunity to buy on 88 ,looks great , run great But I’m a bit concerned about to find new parts is it easy to find new motor parts ou electronic parts .? Thanks again
Do you have a video where you take off the dashboard? The windshield wipers got disconnected after painting the van. So I decided to replace the nozzles, motor and dashboard while I’m at it. Maybe I can do more updates under the dashboard while I am at it…🤷🏻♂️
Great job man! I’m having the same issue. I need to order these parts. Any chance you can link me to the radiator? I don’t know where my temp wire is at. Where does yours go to?
Hello great video! I saw you mentioned in another comment you got the new radiator off rock auto. Do you happen to know the part number? Having a tough time finding a replacement
I have an 86 LE Van, did you think about changing your thermostat as well, they can be an issue if the motor was overheating. You have to drop the alternator to access it. Thanks for the great video.
Always use OEM Toyota and put the jiggle valve at 11 0clock. They're designed differently for the proper operating temperature range, flow, and orientation
@@user-ih6we9kq2q I did use a Toyota thermostat, when i did my head. I replaced the whole cooling system. I hope that it cures the heat issue so far no issues.
Brotha man did you ever find a valve of sorts to bleed the coolant system? I wonder if my van is just corroded real nasty, but I’d didn’t take nearly as much water as I though it needed.
Garage Theory thanks big guy. 🙏 yeah I was searching for a specific video and I seen yours pop up. So I just rewatched it 🤣. Shame you didn’t drop the JZ into this guy. Lol
I'm looking for the top intake with throttle body and all for a 88 Toyota Van Wagon LE. Anyone know where I can find it? Is Anyone selling those parts and can ship them to me?
